Gaturiri means "the shrubs" in Kikuyu, and this factory on the southern slopes of Mount Kenya processes cherry from smallholder farmers of the Barichu Cooperative. Blackcurrant leads the cup with a ripe, juicy sweetness, followed by tart raspberry and a clean lemon tea acidity. Hibiscus lifts the finish with a gentle floral note. Fully washed, this SL28 and Ruiru 11 lot is bright, structured, and easy to enjoy.
